At Uptown Car Rental, we strive to provide exceptional service. This Refund Policy outlines our terms regarding cancellations and refunds for our car rental services.
1. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking amount.
- No refunds will be provided for last-minute cancellations (within 2 hours of pickup) or no-shows.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds will be processed in the following cases:
- Service was not provided due to a fault on our end.
- Booking was canceled as per our cancellation policy.
- Payment was made in error or a duplicate transaction occurred.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be provided under these circumstances:
- Customer cancels after the car has been dispatched.
- Failure to provide valid identification at pickup.
- Delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
4. Refund Processing
If eligible, refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Processing time: 5-7 business days, depending on the payment provider.
- Customers will be notified via email once the refund is initiated.
